We began this maternity photography session indoors in Falmouth, Cornwall. A warm patch of January sunlight, a comfortable chair, a cup of tea. Time moved gently, without agenda or rush. These early moments allowed space to soften, to pause, and to honour this chapter of early motherhood.
Winter offered us an unexpected gift. Soft sunshine, warm enough to feel hopeful for spring. Stepping outside onto the beach, the light shifted — brighter, open, grounding. There is something reassuring about feeling the earth steady beneath your feet, breathing a little deeper, letting the day hold you.
This relaxed maternity session moved naturally from indoors to the coastline, capturing both stillness and movement — the quiet anticipation before everything changes.
